"Fantastic talk tonight.... Well-done whoever booked him.....👏"
"Really enjoyed tonight’s talk from Simon Palmer. Very relaxed presentation, full of both detailed tips and suggestions. He covered a wide range of styles and subjects using great images with unique stories which enabled you to connect with both the shot and it's content"
"A very interesting and varied talk with a few useful tips thrown in along the way. An excellent evening and one worth repeating in the future."
I’m writing to thank you for a very entertaining and informative talk. I went to the Camera Club again last Monday and lots of members came up to me to tell me how much they’d enjoyed the evening. Several shared that they hadn’t expected to because the subject was horses, but were very pleasantly surprised. So, please accept our heartfelt thanks! Can we book you again for next year if you are not too busy?
What a different approach Simon Palmer took. Really enjoyed it very much. Sometimes gets a bit restless at half time but was so fascinated and could not wait for the second half. Great Night.
With his passion for big cats and the work of AfriCat, Simon was a very entertaining speaker.
I would just like to thank you for your lecture at tettenhall wood. It was very interesting and gave us an insight into the world of the people trying to make conservation of the animals in Africa work. The comments from the members were it was excellent and very different view not just this is a picture of a cheetah, this is another picture of a cheetah and this is yet another picture of a cheetah. Which is sometimes what happens. So I would like to thank you once again for your excellent lecture.
Really enjoyed the evening with Simon Palmer, entertaining, very experienced and very passionate about his job which showed through. I liked his sense of humour which he used several times, (even the political quips !!). I also learnt a great deal in the handling of these magnificent animals.
I feel our members were given a very interesting, entertaining and educational evening, Simon proved his passion for wildlife and photography skills whilst sharing his knowledge of AfriCat Predator conservation. Hopefully we will invite Simon again next year with another of his fascinating talks & experiences from behind the lens.
Tonight’s Newcastle Camera Club was a superb lecture on preserving big cat population in Namibia from a Photographer who spends much tie there photographing the work of the preservation group AfriCat. Wonderful to see such passion being used for such a good cause.
Simon Palmer of Cheetah World gave us a fantastic talk on Monday, illustrated by superb images. There was a huge mix but the wildlife conservation stories and pictures moved us the most – beautiful and thought-provoking. Simon’s website is definitely worth a look...
